Privacy policy
Last updated October 20, 2026. This policy explains what Future Tours LLC (“Future Tours”, “we”) collects when you use this website and our planning services, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email, optional phone number, the student's graduation year, the schools and dates in your trip, and anything you write in a message.
- Trip selections in your browser — the schools, dates and plan you pick are saved in your browser's local storage so your trip is still there when you come back. They stay on your device until you send a request.
- Usage data — if analytics is enabled, Google Analytics collects pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
How we use it
- To plan your trip, reply to you and make the reservations you ask us to make.
- To share the details a hotel, restaurant or ticketing provider needs to complete a booking you've approved.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Students under 18
Our services are arranged with a parent or guardian. If you are under 13, please don't send us personal information — ask a parent or guardian to contact us instead. If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13, we'll delete it.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies to measure visits. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We don't use advertising cookies.
Third-party links
School pages link to official university websites and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
How long we keep it
We keep trip and contact details for as long as needed to plan and support your trip, and for up to 24 months afterward unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights; we will honor them. Email hello@futuretours.example and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your information to the people who plan your trip. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify people with an active trip by email.
